Our gluten-free kitchen serves up beautiful and delicious combinations of color, flavor, and texture in every dish. We offer Lynchburg’s best smoothies and smoothie bowls. We have also created a menu of healthy salads, wraps, soups, and snacks - plus, seasonal items that sway with local crops and harvests - there will always be a reason to stop in for a treat.

Host your next gathering in one of Palmera House’s curated event spaces. Our private dining room, perfect for intimate meals, seats up to 14, and can be utilized any time of day. While our main space accommodates up to 50 guests during non-business hours. Both options are the foundation for a chic and unique experience. Want to shift the cuisine off-menu? Invite a private chef or pick from one of our favorites.
Our sister space, Casa Nueva, offers an industrial chic event space with a beautifully appointed lounge, catering kitchen, and photo booth - ideal for larger events of up to 200 people.

Owner, Erica Kerns-Calfee, has thoughtfully designed every detail—from the lush patio and healthy café, to the unique natural and organic wines, craft beers, and home accessories. This beautiful escape was inspired by the places she’s lived and traveled around the world. Whether you’re enjoying a fresh meal inspired by an experience in Spain, browsing unique housewares from France and Italy, or gathering with friends, local or from afar, Palmera House is the perfect escape.
